1. What ChainPouch is

ChainPouch is wallet software that you use through a website. Your keys are created, your wallet is sealed and your payments are approved on your own device. We store only the sealed wallet, which we cannot open, and we pass your approved payments on to the public networks. We never have access to, or control over, your coins. We are not a bank, an exchange, a custodian or a payment institution, and we do not hold client money.

2. Who may use the service

You must be old enough to enter into a binding agreement where you live, and you must not be a person or in a place where using this kind of software is prohibited or subject to sanctions. By using the service you confirm that this is the case.

3. Your responsibilities

4. No guarantee of availability

The service is provided as is and as available. We may change, pause or stop it, or remove a coin, at any time. Because we never hold your coins, stopping the service never affects your ability to use your recovery phrase in other wallet software. Balances and payment history come from public blockchain services that we do not control; they may be delayed or temporarily unavailable.

5. No advice

Nothing on this website is financial, legal or tax advice. Cryptocurrency prices move sharply, and networks can slow down, split or fail. Prices shown in your currency are estimates from public sources.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the service, including loss of coins caused by user error, a payment sent to the wrong address or on the wrong network, compromised devices, network conditions, third-party blockchain services or software defects. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service, which is nothing.

7. Fees

We charge no fees. Network fees are chosen by you and paid to the respective blockchain network, never to us.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Seychelles. Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably is subject to the courts of the Republic of Seychelles, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it before your local courts.

9. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. If you keep using the service after an update, you accept the updated terms. The current version is always the one on this page.
