How it works

    Create

    Your browser creates a recovery phrase of 12 or 24 words and a wallet ID for you. You choose a password. Nothing leaves your device until it has been locked with that password.

    Back up

    Write the phrase down, or copy it and download it, and keep it somewhere safe. The phrase is the only way back in if you ever forget your password, and it works on every coin.

  3. 3

    Use

    Receive, send, name your addresses and export your history. Every payment is approved on your device; only the finished payment is passed on to the network.

There is no password reset. We never see your password, so we cannot recover it. Your recovery phrase is the only way back into your wallet — write it down and keep it safe.

We never see your password

Your password is turned into keys on your own device. It never travels to us, so we cannot lose it, leak it or be made to hand it over.

One site per coin

Each coin lives on its own site with its own sign-in. A problem on one coin's site can never reach another coin's wallet.

Only our code runs

Nothing loads from outside: no ad networks, no analytics, no third-party scripts. Your browser checks that every file it runs is exactly the one we published.

Keys stay in memory, then vanish

Nothing secret is saved on your computer. After 15 minutes without activity the wallet locks itself and clears the keys. Signing out does the same.

Extra protection at sign-in

Add an authenticator app as a second check if you like. Repeated wrong passwords slow the sign-in down and bring up a human check, so guessing does not work.

Nothing about you to hand over

We keep no email, no name and no internet address that points to you. Even a complete copy of our database would tell no one who you are.

Questions people ask

I forgot my password. Can you reset it?

No. Your password never reaches us, so there is nothing for us to reset. Enter your recovery phrase on any coin's site to set the wallet up again with a new password. Without the phrase, the coins cannot be recovered by anyone.

What does it cost?

Nothing from us. You pay only the network fee that every payment on that coin's network requires — it goes to the people who run the network, not to us. You see the exact fee before you confirm.

Can I check what the site actually does?

Yes. Every file your browser runs is delivered exactly as we published it, readable and unminified, and your browser refuses any file that has been changed on the way. Nothing loads from anyone else.

Can you freeze my coins?

No. We never hold your keys, so we cannot move, freeze or take anything. If this site disappeared tomorrow, your recovery phrase would still open the same coins in any other standard wallet.
